When her sisters handed her the knife, the little mermaid took it without hesitation. When she enters the tent and sees the prince sleeping beside his beloved, her eyes well up with tears and she drops the knife to the floor. She groped around on the ground, as it was quite dark, and found it. The little mermaid has no choice. She doesn't want to turn into sea foam. She wants to keep on living. She wants to be a mermaid again. Despite her love for the prince.
The little mermaid opened her mouth, as if she wanted to scream in pain, and stabbed the knife into the prince's chest, right through his heart. Nothing happens, then an intense red light illuminates the prince's body. The little mermaid becomes frightened and leaves the tent.
Outside, she sees that the blade in her hands is not the knife her sisters gave her. The blade is predominantly black. It has a small red stone and a wrap handle of the same color. Her sisters, who had stayed close to the boat, saw her with that knife in her hands. Knowing that their sister will die, they scream in despair and dive into the sea.
The little mermaid sees the pink trail turn bright. The sun is about to rise. Before she turns to sea foam, having killed the prince with the wrong knife, she plans to throw the one she's holding into the water when a dark hand holds her back.
"Forgive me, but this knife belongs to me." Said a male voice. "Give it back."
The little mermaid turns around and sees a tall, dark-skinned man. Although he frightens her, she gives him his knife and then the sun rises. The last thing the little mermaid sees is the surprise in the man's eyes as she turns to sea foam. She'll never know that his name is Isaac.
